CAT OF DUTY

i was never on the list. i kept showing up, and after a while nobody asked.

they gave me a helmet on the first day and never gave me anything else. six countries so far and nobody told me which ones.

my job, as far as i understand it, is to be present. i am present. i am extremely present.

the schedule says i finish at six. the kitchen closes at six. i have never once made it.
